Dental Plans

We have introduced our own dental membership arrangement to reward and look after our patients who visit the practice regularly.

Plan 1

Appointments*

Every six months, our members are entitled to:

  • A dental appointment, including a clinical examination, a check for signs of oral cancer and routine x-rays.
  • A maintenance hygiene appointment with the dentist or hygienist to include a scale & polish and preventive techniques to reduce decay and gum disease (additional time may be required for advanced periodontal treatment and attracts an additional charge).

Discounts**

  • 10% discount on any laboratory-based treatments required, i.e. crowns, bridges and dentures.
  • 10% discount on any fillings.
  • 10% discount on many other treatments (extractions, etc).
  • 10% discount on any additional hygiene visits.

Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme***

Eligibility to request assistance following a dental trauma and/or dental emergency or oral cancer.

  • Treatment planning to promote good oral health for life.
  • Emergency treatment and temporary stabilisation during normal surgery hours.

Plan 2

Appointments*

Every twelve months, our members are entitled to:

  • A dental appointment, including a clinical examination, a check for signs of oral cancer and routine x-rays.
  • A maintenance hygiene appointment with the dentist or hygienist to include a scale & polish and preventive techniques to reduce decay and gum disease (additional time may be required for advanced periodontal treatment and attracts an additional charge).

All other benefits apply from Plan 1.

Worldwide Dental Trauma & Emergency Callout Assistance

Emergency callout

The cost of the callout fee and emergency temporary treatment that can be provided by any dentist worldwide who agrees to treat you, subject to the terms and conditions of the scheme. You simply pay the emergency charges to the dentist concerned and collect a receipted invoice. This will then be processed through the practice for reimbursement from the scheme and you will be refunded the costs, up to the scheme limits, and is subject to terms and conditions. This cover is to provide immediate pain relief only; no additional treatment fees can be claimed. You should return to the practice in normal hours for any further treatment required.

Dental trauma

Should you be unfortunate enough to suffer a dental trauma, for example, as a result of a road traffic accident or an accident at home or at work. You can request for assistance, to help with the cost towards this treatment, up to the benefit levels.

Hospitalisation

Benefit is provided should you have to stay in hospital as a result of dental trauma.

Permanent facial disfigurement

Benefit is provided should you be scarred on the neck or face as a result of the accident that also caused dental trauma, where scarring is still visible after 12 months of occurrence.

Oral cancer

If you are diagnosed by an expert medical specialist, you may request assistance for the fixed benefit.

Redundancy protection

Premiums may be paid for up to one year and up to the benefit levels (not included in the Registration and Assistance Schemes Plan level and if you are self-employed).

 

*Subject to receipt of six consecutive monthly payments.
**Please note, discounts only apply to treatments carried out at the practice and exclude certain cosmetic treatments, implants, TMJ, occlusal treatments and any other non-general dental procedure.
